Sprunki Halloween began as a passion project for a group of Halloween-loving developers on the Sprunki team.

In 2023, during an internal hackathon themed “Transforming Seasonal Experiences,” a small group of five developers came up with the idea of ​​combining Sprunki’s audio technology with their shared love of Halloween.

Initially just an “Easter egg” (hidden feature) designed to appear on Halloween night, the prototype quickly caught the attention of Sprunki’s leadership.
